Lead Educator of Inclusive Programs

The role of Lead Educator of Inclusive Programs is a pivotal position within our educational institution. It encompasses the development and implementation of strategic direction for Inclusion Support, as well as the fostering of co-teaching practices that promote student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic direction and leadership in the development of inclusive programs
  • Collaboration with teachers to develop and implement co-teaching practices that cater to diverse student needs
  • Effective management of NCCD (National Disability Insurance Scheme) requirements through Personalised Learning Plans
  • Leadership and guidance in the development of a shared educational vision among special education unit teachers, students, and stakeholders
  • Integration of socially just practices into daily school operations
  • Establishing high standards for student and staff performance
  • Engagement in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Building partnerships with parents, government agencies, and community groups to support student learning outcomes
  • Effective resource management including human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources
