Hotel Room Cleaning Specialist

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of hotel rooms, ensuring a high level of quality and service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of outside areas to ensure they are tidy and free from litter.
  • Prepare and deliver linens to rooms as required.
  • Maintain beds and change bed linen.
  • Dispose of rubbish left in rooms.
  • Clean carpets, floors, and upholstery using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
  • Wash, dry, and store used dishes, cooking equipment, and cutlery.
  • Sanitize room surfaces by wiping them down with disinfectant.
  • Clean bathrooms and restock with fresh towels, amenities, and tissues.
  • Verify that televisions, lights, and air conditioners are functioning correctly.
  • Report any damage to rooms, missing items, evidence of smoking, or guest property to the supervisor.
Additional Tasks:
  • Report maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks in common areas.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 20-35 hours per week. You will be paid an hourly rate from $25.00.
