Searson Buck is currently seeking a skilled Boilermaker to support their engineering client in the Wynard region.

About the Role:

  • Fabrication and welding of car carriers
  • General fabrication and welding of stainless/carbon steel equipment
  • Participate in established continuous improvement activities
  • Comply with Tasmanian Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation requirements

About you:

  • Experienced in general MIG/TIG/ARC welding
  • Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Welder is advantageous but not essential
  • Show a high level of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels within the business
  • A strong commitment to a safe working environment
