The position of Lead Kitchen Professional is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and meal service delivery to ensure high-quality, nutritious meals are provided daily. This role involves managing staff, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and developing menus tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the management of kitchen operations, including menu planning and inventory control
- Prepare fresh, well-balanced meals according to client preferences and dietary guidelines
- Manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective team performance and adherence to food safety protocols
- Develop and implement efficient systems for ordering, storage, and utilization of ingredients
- Ensure ongoing compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or clinical settings
- Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above)
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and promote a positive work environment
- Strong understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and food safety protocols
