Job Overview: We are seeking a high-calibre individual to fill the role of Director, Budget and Reporting. This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of budget management strategies and plans to support the Agency's financial sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government budget management, with experience in developing and executing external budget strategies and providing expert financial advice. They will be able to assess, develop, implement and evaluate budget management strategies, initiatives, policies and procedures, and engage and influence senior leaders and budget managers across the Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement budget management strategies and plans to support the Agency's financial sustainability.
  • Provide expert financial advice to senior leaders and budget managers.
  • Assess, develop, implement and evaluate budget management strategies, initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Engage and influence senior leaders and budget managers across the Agency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of government budget management.
  • Experience in developing and executing external budget strategies.
  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
