We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Perigon Group in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced accountant to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth of our business.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by providing critical support across various accounting and financial activities.
  • Your responsibilities will include processing accounts receivable transactions, monitoring customer accounts, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with account managers, managing expense claim and credit card reconciliation process, reconciling general ledger accounts, and overseeing finance and corporate accounts.
  • You will also be responsible for supporting capital spend management, including capital approvals, WIP monitoring, and fixed asset register maintenance, as well as participating in month-end processes, including posting standing journals and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
  • You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Senior Financial Accountant and other members of the finance team to achieve our goals and objectives.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, with at least 3 years of technical experience.
  • CA/CPA qualification or currently working towards accreditation.
  • Experience with a Big 4 or 2nd Tier Chartered firm or large ASX/multinational company preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards such as AASB 15 and AASB 16.
  • Proficiency in major ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
