Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team of cloud professionals.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.

  • You will lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring high availability, security, and performance through best practices in virtualisation, storage, identity, and automation.

Additionally, you will serve as a key escalation point for complex issues and play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers and shaping our cloud strategy.

Design & Architecture
  • Develop scalable, resilient cloud solutions in Azure aligned with business needs.
  • Drive architecture best practices focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
Deployment & Automation
  • Implement and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Performance & Optimisation
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, optimise resource usage, and reduce operational costs.
Security & Compliance
  • Enforce cloud security policies, conduct security assessments, and ensure alignment with frameworks like ISO 27001, Essential 8, and NIST.
Support & Incident Management
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for critical cloud issues and implement robust disaster recovery solutions.
Documentation & Collaboration
  • Maintain thorough documentation and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
  • Mentor junior engineers and stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies.
