The Role

As a Compliance Team Leader at EML, you'll play a key role in maintaining the necessary environment to support the delivery of schedule B assurance requirements of the contract. This includes contributing to the annual Agreed Upon Procedure engagement (mandated external audit) and associated reporting.

You'll be responsible for supervising the day-to-day work activity and coaching and developing the Compliance Officers. This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of annual audit plan to support assurance requirements and continuous improvement
  • Build trusted internal and external relationships to facilitate the successful implementation of programs
  • Contribute to the effective management of the Vic business via continuous improvement and risk management activities
  • Lead a team of Compliance Officers

About You

  • Excellent understanding of the Victorian Workers' Compensation requirements, WorkSafe and EML systems or the ability to develop knowledge quickly
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Victorian Workers' Compensation sector preferred or equivalent experience in another sector
  • Experience in risk, compliance and leadership is desired
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong personal responsibility ideals and customer service skills
