Senior Manager, Compliance Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Compliance to join our Risk and Compliance function. This pivotal role supports the Head of Compliance in navigating the regulatory landscape and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
The position is based in Sydney and involves overseeing compliance operations and implementing policies across a leading financial services organization.
We're embarking on a significant uplift and transformation of our risk management framework.

We're looking for individuals who care about doing what's right, and who want to help shape the next chapter of risk and compliance with us.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the obligations library.
- Lead the breach assessment process for all incidents.
- Develop and execute conflicts of interest plans for senior leaders.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present compliance updates to senior management and relevant committees.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the compliance function and promote continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and support the Head of Compliance in developing strategies to address compliance challenges.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
- Extensive experience in a compliance or legal function within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- Proven track record in managing regulatory change and compliance initiatives.
