Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Director to lead our team at Bright Start Specialised Early Learning Centre. As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, while also ensuring the commercial and operational viability of the centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children with disabilities
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals to support children with additional needs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Manage the centre's budget and resources to ensure financial sustainability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider community
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education

Requirements

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent ACECQA qualification)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in early childhood education and care
  • Working with children check
  • First Aid certificates
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
