About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Design Professional to join our team at Beacon Lighting. As a key member of our Design Studio, you will be responsible for providing expert customer service and product advice to our retail and trade customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and product advice to customers in the showroom and on lighting design projects
  • Build the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from retail and trade customers
  • Nurture client relationships through the entire design process
  • Read and interpret house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs
  • Contribute to the overall presentation of the showroom through merchandising and general housekeeping

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, achieving sales targets and working towards budgets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with customers
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the job
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
  • A strong attention to detail
