About the Role

Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced Aluminum Safety Specialist to join our team in Bell Bay, Tasmania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to operational teams on Health and Safety systems within the work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute performance reports on Health and Safety performance to the site, including identifying trends and insights.
  • Manage the Critical Risk Management (CRM) portal with respect to Bell Bay employees and contractors.
  • Provide advice on relevant Health and Safety risks and aspects to operational teams.
  • Facilitate incident investigations and prepare health and safety improvement packages.
  • Maintain the distribution of isolation hardware and provide advice on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
