Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Assistant to join our team at the Merrylands Store. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Jay Jays by delivering exceptional customer experiences with honesty and integrity.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve both individual and store targets.
  • Cash handling and processing sales.
  • Assist with stock management and processing.
  • Contribute to set up of store promotions and visual merchandising.
  • Minimise stock loss by following company loss prevention policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate confidence to approach, connect and sell to customers.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Value integrity and doing things the right way.
  • Enjoy working with a team in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Be 'solutions focused' when faced with problems.
  • Awareness of loss prevention, health & safety, visual merchandising, as well as experience in a team environment or fashion retail is favourable but not essential.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
