Job Opportunity in Cyber Security

We are seeking a talented academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Cyber Security. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our school, while advancing your own career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the area of Cyber Security, with a focus on developing and delivering high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in Cyber Security, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, continuing until 2025 or 2026.
  • The remuneration package includes level C/D salary, 17% superannuation, and flexible working options.
  • You will be based at UNSW Canberra, City Campus, and will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that values diversity and promotes equality of opportunity.
Requirements
  • A PhD in a related field, with relevant teaching and course development experience.
  • Evidence of currency within discipline area through research output, professional development, or industry experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, learning design, and educational leadership.
  • Ability to lead and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
