Job Title: Senior Frontend DeveloperJob Description:

The Engineering team focuses on building high-performance APIs that empower internal and external developers to enhance the Canva Editor.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping and driving the development of scalable APIs that boost design functionality within the editor.

This role offers an opportunity to design, develop, and maintain APIs and frameworks that will enable other developers to extend the Canva Editor's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and scale high-quality APIs and frameworks.
  • Communicate engineering requirements effectively to stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts to achieve team goals, improve processes, and refine solutions for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Frontend stack experience.
  • API/SDK design expertise.
  • Strong understanding of computer science principles, including asynchronous programming, data structures, solution design, and design patterns.
  • Passion for optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues.
