Visual Communication Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Visual Communication Specialist to support our team on the Central-West Orana Transmission Project. This role is responsible for creating high-quality visual materials, including datasheets, brochures, website graphics, product pages, email templates, banners, signage, social media and other marketing content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce engaging digital and print materials that effectively communicate project-related information in line with approved branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with various function teams to design visuals for public communication materials, community and stakeholder events, and technical presentations.
  • Maintain consistency in design across all touchpoints, ensuring branding guidelines are adhered to.
  • Work on ad hoc design tasks, including graphics for events, webinars, and shows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and translate technical information into easy-to-understand materials.
Criteria for Selection
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a portfolio showing work on both technical and marketing materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and the ability to adapt design to technical and creative needs.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into visually appealing graphics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take and edit product photos.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
