Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical professional to coordinate patient-centered practice specific to perinatal mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership, advice, and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team in the coordination of patient-centered practice specific to perinatal mental health.
  • Facilitate and provide quality and cost-effective nursing and/or midwifery services consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation, and best practice.
  • Develop and implement education programs for healthcare professionals, consumers, and carers related to perinatal mental health.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including consumers, carers, community-based service providers, and other healthcare organizations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expert, specialized, and comprehensive knowledge of contemporary practice within perinatal mental health.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate directly or indirectly in the delivery of care to individuals/groups within perinatal mental health.
  • Demonstrated ongoing professional development of self and others and the facilitation of an environment that encourages lifelong learning, mentoring, and support for colleagues.
