About the Role

Cranbrook Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchenhand to join our team at our state-of-the-art aged care residence, Bayswater Gardens.

As a Kitchenhand, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to our residents. You will be responsible for contributing to the kitchen team through the delivery of high-quality and timely output, treating other team members with care and respect, and continuously improving your skills and capabilities to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general kitchen and cleaning duties as outlined in the Duties List for each shift.
  • Ensure duties are performed in a timely manner to Cranbrook Care's quality expectations.
  • Comply with the Cranbrook Care Food Safety Program.
  • Live the Cranbrook Care culture and work according to Cranbrook Care values.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a kind and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal with sensitive issues in a professional and respectful manner. You will have experience working in a team environment, be fluent in English, and have a strong understanding of infection control and Work, Health & Safety Legislation.
