A leading Tier 2 Principal Builder in Sydney is seeking a proactive and dedicated Safety Advisor to join their team on a new construction project. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained on site.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct site inductions to ensure all personnel understand the safety protocols and expectations.
  • Review and monitor contractors' SWMS to identify potential risks and implement control measures.
  • Oversight of general site safety to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Lead site safety meetings to discuss hazards, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyzing site practice and implementation of improved practices to enhance overall safety performance.
  • Reporting and investigating incidents, injuries, and hazards, and implementing agreed control measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Helping to promote WHS&E awareness on site through training and education programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Site Management Plans, including maintenance of accurate records.
  • Collaborating with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks, improving overall safety culture.

**Requirements:**

  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety is essential for this role.
  • A sound understanding of WHS&E Legislation and Regulations is crucial for success.
  • Previous experience in a Safety Advisor Role on Construction Projects is necessary to apply for this position.
