System Design and Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a System Design and Implementation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and upgrading information systems to meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required
  • Design new computer systems and frameworks
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Risk mitigation planning
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT team to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent
  • Run training sessions and workshops on system processes
  • Assess information systems against their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, software vendors, and programmers to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
  • Proficient in computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
  • Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
  • Degree in computer science or Information Technology
