Maintenance Fitter Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our production team in a key role.

  • This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your mechanical skills and experience in maintenance operations.
  • You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery within our facility.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance of conveyor belts, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  2. Attending to breakdowns and repairs promptly, minimizing production disruptions.
  3. Changing machine bearings and motors as required, maintaining optimal performance.
  4. Fault finding and troubleshooting equipment issues efficiently.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. Possession of a Mechanical Fitter and Turner qualification or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of four years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Current Forklift and EWP ticket.
  4. Welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
