Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering work orders, including fault-finding, repairs, and servicing and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and deliver allocated work orders, servicing, repairing, and inspecting assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes, and winches.
  • Carry out administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network, including attendance to pre-start meetings.
  • E nsure adherence to safety, compliance, policy, and procedures.
  • Report activities relating to works planned, completed, risks, and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of experience in Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks.
  • Experience in servicing technical mechanical assets, actuators, gearboxes, and pumps.
  • Holding a current C Class Driver Licence.
  • Possession of a Trade Mechanical certificate.
  • Proof of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity).
  • Proof of First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity).
  • Compliance with Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity).
  • Competence in Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205, MSMPER200 (3-year validity).
  • Ability to work at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity).
