About the Role

This role is part of a global program focused on continuous improvement, operating on a Monday to Friday roster.

You'll collaborate with a worldwide network to implement impactful strategies and drive operational excellence.

Reporting to a senior manager, your activities will be supported by a methodology aimed at improving quality, reducing costs, and generating growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Apply Lean Manufacturing and business improvement methodologies to solve problems.
  2. Design and implement business principles in each department.
  3. Develop creative approaches and solutions to improve equipment and people utilisation.
  4. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  5. Monitor execution progress and work with team leaders to ensure timely delivery of planned improvement initiatives.
  6. Conduct risk analysis and develop contingency plans.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/line areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to coach leadership teams in Quality Management concepts.
  • Ability to influence and motivate individuals or groups at all levels of the organisation.
  • High-level understanding of team dynamics.
  • Practical knowledge of business improvement methods.
  • Working knowledge of business functions and processes desired but not essential.
