An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate pharmacist with advanced education and training knowledge and leadership skills to join and lead our Eastern Health Education and Training Pharmacy Team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, educate, mentor, and performance manage the EH pharmacy education and training pharmacists.
- Take the lead over the organisation, development, and delivery of structured education programs that are adaptable to the workforce and incorporate new technologies in collaboration with site managers and Clinical Leads.
- Ensure that supervising pharmacists are appropriately orientated to the requirements of the programs and have the skills to provide an environment that facilitates further learning and development.
- Provide support and training to pharmacists to enable them to effectively supervise and mentor pharmacy students, interns, and other pharmacists.
- Coordinate orientation, assessments, performance appraisal/development discussions, feedback (collated from participants, supervisors, and universities), VicPlace placement (confirmation, allocation, and reporting); continue to update and maintain the orientation and training programs.
- Contribute to medical, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy education.
- Ensure best practice education and training is provided.
