Job Title: Operational Risk ManagerAbout the Role

This position is accountable for participating in the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Framework. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing the Operational Risk Framework to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Managing risk/ OH&S and environmental management systems to minimize exposure and maximize resilience.
  • Conducting regular audits and providing recommendations for improvement to optimize business performance.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership stakeholders on large and complex projects to drive strategic outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Diploma or Certificate IV qualification in Risk/OHS/Environmental Management.
  • Current Lead Auditor qualifications or Qualified Return to Work Coordinator certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in developing and implementing OH&S/WHS environment, business continuity, and enterprise risk management systems.
  • A proven track record in construction, asset management, or healthcare.
Desirable Skills and Qualities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong project management skills for large and complex projects.
  • A working knowledge of best practice Risk Management Systems and governance principles.
  • Experience in managing general insurances, self-insurance, captive insurance administration, and claims management.
