Water Operations Trainee Role

As part of our team, you'll work across a diverse range of water infrastructure projects that directly support the community's health, safety, and wellbeing.

We're looking for individuals who are willing to learn on the job and ask questions. If you're interested in maintaining and improving facilities and have strong communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Water Operations Trainee, you'll gain practical skills in:

  • Water and wastewater treatment plant operations
  • Pump station maintenance
  • Wastewater manhole inspections
  • Network Maintenance and Repair
  • Dam and catchment surveillance

This apprenticeship is an excellent way to build a long-term career in the industry, whether you're a school leaver or returning to the workforce.

Key Requirements

• Hold a current Driver's License (Red P's or more)

• Commit to study requirements and complete training in a timely manner

• Safety-conscious and able to work safely for yourself and others

• Able to comply with uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
