Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Amazon Australia Company Pty Ltd - P36 seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to play a key business partner role on the International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Amazon's Australia Payment business, including Cobranded Credit Card, Installments, Buy Now Pay Later, Gift Cards, Shop with Points, Cost of Payment, and other local payment products.
  • Participate in long and short-term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, and developing and reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Provide analytical support for senior leadership and be a key risk/controllership gateway for the Payments business.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Amazon's payment business.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Credit Card/Payments industry experience.
