HR Operations Manager Role

This role is a key position within the organization, responsible for overseeing HR services and ensuring service excellence. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to drive process improvements and optimize HRIS platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end HR services including onboarding, offboarding contract management and employee records
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services with a focus on employee experience and service excellence
  • Manage and optimize HRIS platforms
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or human resources (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR operations, shared services, or HR service delivery
  • Proven experience managing core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve HR operational workflows and service delivery models
  • Experience leading and developing HR teams, including HR coordinators, administrators, and specialists
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms ideally Workday or similar (SuccessFactors, SAP, Oracle), including system implementation or optimisation
  • Strong understanding of data integrity, reporting, and analytics within HR systems
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation, privacy laws, and HR compliance requirements in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) programs, including incident reporting, compliance, and coordination of Workers Compensation claims and return-to-work processes
