We are seeking an experienced and skilled lead frontend engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex features, providing technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers, and contributing significantly to projects across the agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance React applications that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Architect complex solutions that balance usability, maintainability, and performance, ensuring the best possible experience for our users.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to grow and develop in their careers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Act as a technical escalation point within the team, providing expertise and support as needed.
  • Drive best practices through code reviews, documentation, and technical leadership, ensuring that our engineering standards are high and consistent.

Candidates should have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, specifically with React or similar technologies.
  • Deep expertise in NextJS, TypeScript, and front-end architecture, with a strong understanding of cloud-based services and modern deployment workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex frontend systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Experience with automated testing libraries and design systems, with a strong understanding of how to integrate these tools into our development workflow.
  • A strong understanding of cloud-based services and modern deployment workflows, with experience working with cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
