Senior Energy Markets Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Power Markets Consultant to join our team. Our leading Market Fundamentals and Transactions practice advises energy companies, financial institutions, governments, and regulators on economic, commercial, and strategic consulting.
As a Power Markets Consultant, you will lead the end-to-end market modelling process on Client projects, suggesting model and process enhancements in the spirit of continuous improvement. You will work closely with clients to provide strategic consulting, leveraging your skills and experience to deliver results in challenging environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing market models for client projects
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver client projects
- Collaborating with clients to identify business opportunities and develop hedging strategies
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of power markets and regulations
- Substantial experience of power market analysis, ideally gained in the Australian market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
