Job Title: Medical Excellence and Evidence Generation Professional

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects aligned with our business strategy, working closely with medical teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

This role provides RWE generation leadership across all Therapeutic Areas (TA's) and is responsible for contributing to and executing the RWE strategy, as well as being accountable for the operational delivery of relevant RWE projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop TA-specific MSL scientific engagement plans aligned with the TA Medical Plan.
  • Drive capabilities to capture and share in-field insights to support brand, medical, and scientific strategy and business development.
  • Oversee MA-sponsored studies in Country and provide support and coordination of Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISR's) as needed.

Medical Affairs Capabilities and Strong Medical Leadership:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Medical Affairs purpose, medical excellence, operations, and capability building, as well as a deep understanding of the role of evidence generation in medical strategy.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or similar and/or a Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Ph.D.) or medical post-graduate (e.g. MD) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4+ years working experience in medical affairs in pharmaceuticals, or healthcare industry.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years prior medical excellence experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years prior MSL/field-based medical experience.
  • Practical experience in performing RWE studies, in any setting, including life sciences company, research organization, academic institution, or governmental agency.
