Key Parks and Open Space Management Role

The role of a Service Delivery Analyst within the Parks and Open Space team is critical in maintaining high-quality parks and open spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing detailed analysis of maintenance operations in relation to service delivery.

This involves utilizing the Technology One suite of systems to gather information that informs decision making. You will also analyze and action outputs from quality auditing systems, play a key role in developing service level agreements within the team, and lead design and systems thinking to identify strategic issues and opportunities across the Parks and Open Space team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed analysis of maintenance operations in relation to service delivery.
  • Utilize the Technology One suite of systems to gather information that informs decision making.
  • Develop and implement performance measures to effectively monitor and evaluate productivity enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of service level agreements within the team.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a relevant park and open space related field are essential.
  • A current C class driver's license is required.
  • Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD) certification is necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of parks and open space management is highly desirable.
  • Substantial experience in an analyst or related role is preferred.
  • Highly demonstrated experience in performing maintenance performance analysis is required.
  • Ability to research and assess new concepts or interventions is essential.
  • Experience in implementing interventions and continuous improvement programs is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of relevant acts, legislation, Australian Standards, Council bylaws, and Codes of Practice within a public sector context is necessary.
  • Demonstrated understanding of park and open space environmental practices is desirable.
