Farm Underwriting Operations Manager

This is a leadership role where you will oversee and manage the underwriting team in WA/SA to deliver top-notch underwriting standards and achieve financial goals.
You will develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements to ensure exceptional service delivery and compliance. As a key contact for assigned brokers, you will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will collaborate with underwriting and distribution teams to optimize pipeline management, maximize conversion and retention, and enhance customer satisfaction.
You will identify and resolve local risk and compliance issues while promoting sustainable practices within the Farm portfolio.
Key Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with industry certifications where applicable.
- Extensive experience in operational underwriting within a general insurance environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements impacting the insurance industry.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver clear and influential messages.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
