Senior Project Accountant

Job Overview:

The Senior Project Accountant is a key role within our team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial management services to one of our major road infrastructure projects.

Working closely with the Commercial team and wider project team, the successful candidate will provide expert management and cost accounting support, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of project accounts.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Apply project cost coding structures accurately across all costs incurred
  • Manage accrual processes and prepare journals for project accruals and adjustments
  • Submit timely progress claims and tax invoices to clients
  • Provide detailed financial reports by specified deadlines on forecasts, budgets, and cash flows to the project team and corporate finance team
  • Ensure robust financial reporting across the project delivery team
  • Manage the Project Bank Account in accordance with MRPV requirements
  • Support project management teams with financial matters
  • Maintain accurate records and meet monthly end deadlines
