About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our client for the delivery of a major piece of civil infrastructure in a large-scale project. The successful candidate will work closely with the client managing a significant package of earthworks, roadworks, and office facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Design: Oversee all aspects of earthworks and roadworks, ensuring designs meet project and environmental standards.
  • Contractual Management: Manage contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with project timelines and milestones.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial forecasts.
  • Operational Planning: Collaborate with teams to coordinate logistics, manage community impacts, and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and community stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering high performance and ensuring safety across all activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering, including 5 years in roadworks and heavy civil projects.
  • Strong project management, contract administration, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
Work Conditions

This is a Monday to Friday role with the occasional Saturday. Field and office-based work environments.

This is an opportunity to work on a Tier 1 infrastructure project with a strong path to career progression. We're looking for candidates with a background in civil roadworks and heavy civil earthworks who are ready to take on a major role in delivering this large multi-million dollar project.
