Assistant Store Manager

Take your leadership skills to the next level as an Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by utilizing advanced technology and working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Motivate and inspire your team to consistently meet sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor team performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement effective strategies to achieve success.
  • Collaborate with senior management to effectively manage rosters and control labor costs within company guidelines.
  • Support daily store operations, maintaining high standards in store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock management.
  • Champion team training, development, and succession planning to build a strong, skilled workforce.
  • Foster relationships with local sporting clubs and healthcare professionals to enhance community engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements in line with national and state regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role or as a senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • A strong focus on achieving results and meeting KPIs.
  • Effective leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to drive team performance.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of stock control and visual merchandising principles.
