We're seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to perform critical technical roles, supporting train operations with expertise in NGR fleet and sub-systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing ISST tasks on a rotating basis, providing technical advice to minimize train downtime.
  • Raising incidents in SAP based on driver feedback or onboard system alerts.
  • Liaising with Mobile Service Technicians to repair trains without disrupting service.
  • Contributing to vehicle modification programs to enhance reliability and maintainability.
  • Monitoring fleet performance using diagnostics and remote monitoring systems.

To succeed, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of NGR fleet and sub-systems.
  • Significant experience in technical roles, maintaining and repairing the NGR fleet.
  • Relevant trade qualifications.
