**Job Title:** Event Operations Manager

**About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead the delivery of seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences for our outdoor cinema events. The successful candidate will work closely with our venue management team to oversee daily operations, including site set-up and pack-down, contribute to the planning and delivery of the bump-in and bump-out production schedule, and support and lead a team of casual onsite staff.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including site set-up and pack-down
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the bump-in and bump-out production schedule
  • Support and lead a team of ~35 casual onsite staff
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff
  • Manage food & beverage operations (ordering, invoice processing, and stock control)
  • Oversee sponsorship activations and ensure contractual deliverables are delivered to a high standard
  • Prepare rosters and manage timesheets
  • Oversee AV operations, including screen and audio set-up and content management

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a management role
  • Previous experience in food and beverage and customer service
  • Cinema or event management experience (advantageous)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience leading and motivating a casual workforce
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and time management skills
  • A collaborative approach with a can-do attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required: Current RSA and valid driver's license
