Job Summary

Operate vacuum excavation units and associated equipment to locate and expose underground services, clean storm water pipelines, and perform other site-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Locate and expose underground services such as power, communications, water, gas, drainage and sewer lines.
  • Operate vacuum excavation units for potholing and NDD of underground services.
  • Perform daily maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete written defect reports and submit them to the relevant authorities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current NSW HR unrestricted driver's license.
  • WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
  • Previous experience in vacuum excavation operations.
  • General knowledge of plant and machinery operations.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, safety awareness and a cautious approach to work.
