About the Role

As a valued member of our Antenatal and Postnatal inpatient wards, you will be working alongside our multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to our mums, babies and families, placing patients at the centre of all we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal periods.
  • Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or in the process of obtaining AHPRA Registration.
  • Minimum of Level 2 RANZCOG or working towards.
  • Demonstrated credentialing for newborn discharge examinations or working towards.
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
