Operations Support Manager Job Description

This role is perfect for a leader who is passionate about working with seniors and develops relationships with clients, residents and staff.

The Operations Support Manager will provide operational support to Managers engaged in day-to-day delivery of services and support the Business Manager in achieving the operational and strategic business objectives including development of policies, relief management and implementation of village projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction and support to Retirement Village Managers
  • Support, monitor and improve management processes in accordance with associated legislation
  • Lead the implementation of service related efficiency and effectiveness projects across the portfolio
  • Promote the integration of services between Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Living
  • Assist village management to achieve accreditation under ARVAS

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in retirement living management
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional standards of customer service
  • The ability to initiate, lead and manage effective change and continuous improvement
  • Highly developed personal organisation, time management and interpersonal skills that foster respect
  • High level of written and verbal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
