The Square Kilometre Array Observatory is a cutting-edge radio astronomy facility poised to revolutionise our understanding of the Universe and its fundamental laws. Situated in Western Australia, this mega-science project is an international collaboration that promises to have a profound impact on science and society alike.

As a key member of the Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) team based in Perth, you will contribute to the integration and testing of the low-frequency telescope, SKA-Low. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of all telescope components, thereby facilitating groundbreaking scientific discoveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of the Systems AIV Plan, aligned with the Integration & Verification Strategy.
  • Define and manage the Continuous Integration & Verification flow, encompassing signal chain validation and use case development.
  • Develop performance analysis tools and diagnose system-level issues across the SKA-Low Telescope and ITF.
  • Represent AIV in product integration, supplier training, system acceptance, and milestone reviews.
  • Collaborate across global, multi-disciplinary teams using Lean Agile processes to plan, prioritise, and deliver project outcomes.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and share best practices for telescope characterisation and performance evaluation.
