This role is pivotal in the growth and development of a local council. The successful candidate will oversee a team, ensuring that every contribution supports the right projects at the right time.

About the Role

As the leader of the Contributions Planning Team, you will guide strategic long-term planning, deliver infrastructure for the community, and prepare initiatives in development contributions.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to understand relevant legislation and interpret planning instruments.
  • Proven experience in project management, developing project plans, and tracking progress.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, and motivate from a corporate perspective.
  • Excellent customer and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Proven high-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare well-considered reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing staff, contributing to long-term customer service programs, and planning years in advance.
  • A degree qualification in Town Planning, Asset Management, Civil Engineering, or Financial Management.
