About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian with specialist level knowledge and capacity in Anatomical and/or Clinical Pathology to lead and support innovative research, teaching, and diagnostic services. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of pathology academics in delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching in Veterinary Pathology.
  • Contribute to and lead research projects in Anatomical and/or Clinical Pathology, with a focus on developing and expanding professional opportunities and developing highly sought-after graduates.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand professional opportunities and develop highly sought-after graduates.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Veterinarian with specialist level knowledge and capacity in Anatomical and/or Clinical Pathology. The successful candidate will have:

A record of research/creative works and/or professional activity relevant to the Veterinary Pathology discipline.Experience in delivering high-quality student-centred learning and teaching in Veterinary Pathology.Highly developed communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within academic and/or laboratory teams.Demonstrated ability to provide leadership within the Veterinary Pathology discipline related to teaching and/or research or professional activity.About the School

The School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences provides more than twenty undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the Faculty of Science and Health. This includes Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Equine Science, Environmental Science, Geospatial Science, and Veterinary Science. The School has substantial infrastructure of a high standard for training veterinary undergraduates and postgraduates, including access to on-campus veterinary enterprises in Wagga.
