About the Role
As a key member of the Neuron Mobility team, the City Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our operations in Wollongong. Reporting to the Regional Manager for NSW, this individual will oversee the day-to-day operational functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the operational functions, including shift scheduling, rostering, and staff deployment planning.
- Develop and implement daily goals and strategies to optimize team performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations, provide guidance, and address any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure effective maintenance and quality control of e-scooters.
- Recruit, train, and develop new Operations staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to Neuron's Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Health & Safety Procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including city council, businesses, and the community.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing direct reports within an operations team, preferably in the mobility, transit, logistics, or tech start-up space.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
- Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 25-28 kg.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Passion for delivering seamless customer experiences.
- An open class Driver Licence.
- A suitable smartphone to perform this role (generally an Apple or Android device from or newer).
