About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced City Operations Manager to join our team at Neuron Mobility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our e-scooter fleet in Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the deployment and retrieval of e-scooters at designated stations.
  • Conduct analysis of city performance to optimize the level of service provided to the community.
  • Manage the city's revenue and costs to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Ensure the timely deployment of mobility devices to support consumer demand.
  • Oversee the quality control and maintenance of e-scooters.
  • Hire and train new Operations staff members and conduct regular refresher training.
  • Ensure the Operations team adheres to Neuron's Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Health & Safety Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing direct reports within an Operations team.
  • A hands-on approach to leadership.
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift, carry and manoeuvre 25-28 kg.
  • Self-starter who radiates positivity and possesses a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience.
  • An open class Driver Licence.
