We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at one of our Queensland-based mining sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on mobile fleet equipment.
- Performing routine inspections, servicing and adjustments.
- Carrying out breakdown-related maintenance including troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant trade qualifications, experience working with heavy machinery and a strong focus on safety and teamwork. A high level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs in both the field and workshop environments.
- Conduct timely maintenance activities including inspections, servicing and adjustments.
- Complete breakdown-related maintenance including troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant diesel fitter or heavy vehicle trade qualification or equivalent.
