Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and caring Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Unit as a Perioperative Nursing Specialist. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a passion for delivering high-quality perioperative patient care, and a commitment to quality patient care.



  • Deliver evidence-based perioperative nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise, direct, and guide new graduate and student nurses to deliver patient care
  • Ensure patient and staff safety in the operating theatre environment

About the Role


As a Registered Nurse in our Perioperative Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

What You Will Need


To be successful in this role, you will need to have current registration with AHPRA, a postgraduate certificate in perioperative nursing (or working towards), and a commitment to quality patient care. You will also need to have sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well independently and within a team.
