About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team at Macquarie. As an IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems that provide Identity and API gateway services, using industry best practices.

You will have a DevOps and agile mindset and a keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies. You will also provide on-call support (on rotation basis) and continuous uptime for client-facing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IAM systems using industry best practices
  • Build and maintain high-quality monitoring and alerting tools
  • Automate delivery processes using DevOps tools
  • Provide on-call support and ensure continuous uptime for client-facing services
Requirements
  • Experience with IAM technologies such as identity providers, directory services, SSO protocols (e.g., OIDC, SAML)
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Security Access Management (ISAM) and/or IBM Security Verify
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including proficiency in cloud formation configuration
  • Experience with Web and API technologies (including REST, HTTP & cert management, API gateway proxies)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline (Ex: Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.)
  • Experience with Configuration management tools (ex: Ansible) and containerization technologies (ex: Docker)
