About the Role

As a Correctional Officer with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, you will play a vital role in maintaining community safety and helping offenders turn their lives around. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise inmates in correctional facilities, ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Provide support and guidance to help offenders address their issues and make positive changes
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to obtain it
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A valid NSW driver's license
